The Pickled series emerged from observing how the language of resistance, solidarity, and equality often circulates in public conversations and institutional spaces. Words like resistance, allyship, and empowerment appear frequently, yet their presence does not always translate into everyday practice.In this work, these expressions are imagined as something that can be preserved—like pickles sealed inside glass jars. Each jar contains fragments of political language, stored and opened when required in conversations or public moments.By presenting these ideas as preserved commodities, the work reflects on the distance between speaking about change and practicing it in daily life.
